The wait is almost over!

Our Downtown Crescent City Farmers Markets will start back up Wednesday, June 3rd, 2026. We will be open every Wednesday from 9am - 2pm (rain or shine!) at 240 H Street. We will share more information as it becomes available.

We are hiring a temporary assistant to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Farmers Market.

Vending Applications for Farmers Market

An afterschool program for 6 - 12 grade students to learn about food production and business skills in Del Norte County. This program ends with the students selling the produce from the program at the Downtown Crescent City Farmers Market.

Class O Business License

Who needs one?

A Class O Business License is required for all vendors who plan to sell their products at the Farmers Market.

Certified Producer Permit

Who needs one?

Anyone selling fruits and vegetables needs County Agricultural Commissioner to confirm you’re growing what you sell. The form is simple and it only cost $19 for the year.

Selling Prepared Food?

You’ll need the proper permits from the Del Norte County Department of Environmental Health.

For Farmers Market vendors, this means there are requirements around things like:

  • keeping hot and cold foods at the right temperatures

  • protecting food from contamination (like covering it or using gloves)

  • having proper handwashing and sanitation setups

  • labeling packaged foods clearly and accurately
