Thank you for your interest in working with
the Del Norte & Tribal Lands Community Food Council
Join a mission-driven team transforming the food system in Del Norte County and across Tribal lands. The Del Norte & Tribal Lands Community Food Council (DNATL CFC) collaborates with farmers, Tribal leaders, youth, and community partners to increase access to healthy local foods, strengthen regional food infrastructure, and support a resilient and equitable food economy. If you’re passionate about community-driven work, supporting local producers, and uplifting diverse communities, we invite you to be part of our growing organization and help shape a healthier food future for our region.
We are seeking a Marketing & Outreach Manager who is passionate about food, community, and storytelling. In this role, you will lead our communications efforts, promote programs and events, uplift producer and partner stories, and help ensure community members know how to access local food resources.
Your work will include managing social media, creating outreach materials, coordinating tabling and community engagement, supporting press and marketing campaigns, and building relationships that strengthen the visibility of DNATL CFC’s work.
If you enjoy creative communication, working with diverse communities, and being out in the field connecting directly with people, this position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while helping shape the future of our regional food system.
Operations Director
Do you care about food access, community well-being, and building organizations that truly serve their regions? DNATL CFC is hiring an Operations Director to help steward the internal systems behind our food system work.
This position supports staff, partners, and the Board by ensuring smooth operations, strong financial and HR practices, and compliant grant management—allowing our programs to focus on farmers, families, and community resilience. You’ll work closely with the Executive Director to strengthen internal infrastructure and support sustainable growth—all while contributing to a mission rooted in equity, collaboration, and community impact. This is a leadership role for someone who enjoys building scalable systems, managing complexity, and bringing clarity and accountability to a growing nonprofit.
Food Hub Manager
The Gather & Grow Food Hub is a major investment in the future of Del Norte County and Tribal food systems—and we’re looking for the right leader to bring it to life.
As Food Hub Manager, you’ll guide the launch of a new aggregation and distribution facility, build operational systems, and steward relationships across the local food economy. From coordinating cold storage and transportation to managing Harvest Boxes and institutional buyers, this role sits at the heart of a resilient, community-driven food system.
This is a rare opportunity to shape infrastructure, support producers, and ensure local food reaches the people who need it most. This role blends food systems leadership, logistics, and relationship-building to help ensure local food reaches schools, Tribes, institutions, and families.
If you’re energized by building infrastructure, supporting farmers, and strengthening equitable regional food systems, this is an opportunity to make lasting, tangible impact.
