With over 20 years of experience growing food organically, Angela Gray brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her role as Community Education Coordinator. Holding certifications as a Master Gardener, Master Food Preserver, and Herbalist, she has cultivated a deep understanding of sustainable food practices, from backyard gardens to farming.
Offering workshops, tours, training, and immersive outdoor summer camps that teach gardening, nutrition, and the importance of local food to individuals of all ages is the heart of Angela's role as Community Education Coordinator.
What makes Angela most valuable in this role is not just her extensive experience but her enthusiasm for teaching and building strong, lasting relationships within the community. She believes that education is most effective when it’s rooted in collaboration, and she thrives in creating networks of support around the projects she leads. This sense of community is what makes her work impactful and sustainable.
Outside of her professional work, Angela values free time spent enjoying the outdoors and playing with her dog Mollie, who shares in her adventures throughout the area. Whether foraging for mushrooms, medicine and food, exploring new places, or sharing knowledge, Angela brings a holistic and hands-on approach to everything she does.
