Our story
Del Norte & Tribal Lands Community Food Council welcomes local farmers, prepared food vendors, and artisan craft vendors to apply to sell at the Downtown Crescent City Farmers Market.
Each vendor type has specific requirements, and applications are reviewed based on eligibility and available space. Meeting requirements does not guarantee immediate acceptance, as space is limited and may vary throughout the season.
Before applying, please review the Rules and Regulations of the Downtown Crescent City Farmers Market.
Step 1: Apply
Complete the application for the Downtown Crescent City Farmers Market. If your application is accepted, you will move on to Step 2.
Step 2: Business License
All vendors (farmers, food vendors, and artisans) MUST obtain a valid Class O Business License through the Crescent City Water Department. To obtain your license, download the Class O Business License application form. Complete the form and submit it to the Crescent City Water Department.

If you are an artisan craft vendor, this completes your application process! One of our staff members will be in contact with you soon.
If you are a local farmer or prepared food vendor, continue to Step 3.
Step 3: Additional Requirements
Local farmers
To sell locally-grown produce, farmers must obtain a Certified Producer Certificate from the Del Norte County Department of Agriculture. Apply for the Certified Producer Certificate online.

Prepared Food Vendors
Prepared food vendors must obtain a Temporary Food Facility (TFF) Permit from the Del Norte County Department of Environmental Health. To obtain your permit, download and complete the TFF permit application form for Del Norte County. Email the completed form to environment-health@co.del-norte.ca.us.

Prepared food vendors must also follow all health standard regulations defined by Del Norte County Department of Environmental Health including:
Proper hot and cold food temperature control
Safe food handling and contamination prevention
Handwashing and sanitation standards
Clear labeling of all packaged foods
