Join the Del Norte & Tribal Lands Community Food Council for an afternoon celebrating local food and community. Whether you're coming for the food, music, friendly competition, or simply to enjoy time with neighbors, there's something for everyone at this free family-friendly event.

The Harvest Festival will take place at the Taa-‘at-dvn Chee-ne’ Tetlh-tvm’ (Crescent City Food Forest), a community space dedicated to demonstrating regenerative agriculture, permaculture, and sustainable gardening while strengthening local food access, education, and community connection.

Live Stage Schedule

12:00- 1:30pm: Live music from Tsunami Swing

1:30pm: Corn-Eating Contest

2:00- 4:00pm: Live music from The WoodPile

Music will take place in the grassy area. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets or folding camp chairs.

Harvest Activities

  • Seed-saving activities with UC Master Gardeners of Del Norte County

  • Seed Library with the Del Norte County Library

  • Food-preservation demonstration with Grace Belt of UC Cooperative Extension–Del Norte County

  • Harvest swap with the Family Resource Center Mobile Market- bring the abundance you have growing in your gardens to share

  • Corn-Eating Contest

  • Seed mosaic making

  • Cider pressing

  • Photo booth

  • Yard games


Beer and Wine Garden

Adults ages 21 and older can enjoy the beer and wine garden, with proceeds supporting the Del Norte & Tribal Lands Community Food Council. We are grateful to Port O’Pints Brewing Co., SeaQuake Brewing, and High Note Winery for generously donating beer and wine for the event. To support the festival’s zero-waste efforts, attendees are encouraged to bring their own reusable cups.

Since 2010, the Del Norte & Tribal Lands Community Food Council has worked alongside Tribal Nations, local producers, schools, nonprofits, agencies, and community members to strengthen the local food system and support a healthy, equitable, and resilient North Coast. The Harvest Festival reflects this mission by creating a welcoming space where community members can celebrate the harvest, learn new skills, support local vendors, and connect with the people who grow and steward our region’s food.
